AHA Healthcare Provider BLS - Initial Training

This course is for licensed or nonlicensed healthcare providers.  The BLS course covers the following:

• Adult and Pediatric CPR
• Foreign body airway obstruction in conscious and unconscious patients
• Two rescuer scenarios with use of a bag valve mask ventilation (BVM's)
• Use of the Automated External Defibrillator

The course is based on the 2020 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and ECC.

There is a 25 question written test and a hands-on skills evaluation as part of the course.

Students will receive the 2 year AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider eCard certification.

The class is approximately 3-4 hours in duration.
