Welcome to the Hands-Only CPR and AED Awareness Course. This class is designed to equip you with the essential skills and confidence to act quickly and effectively in the event of a cardiac emergency.

Hands-Only CPR, also known as compression-only CPR, is a simplified and effective technique that focuses solely on providing high-quality chest compressions to a person in cardiac arrest. This method has been proven to be just as effective as traditional CPR in the first few minutes of a cardiac event, especially for bystanders who may be hesitant or untrained in rescue breathing.

During this class, we will cover:

• When and how to recognize cardiac arrest

• The importance of early intervention

• Proper technique for delivering effective chest compressions

• How to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Please note that this is a non-certifying course. While participants will gain valuable knowledge and hands-on practice, no certification card will be issued upon completion. The goal of this course is to raise awareness and empower you to respond with confidence if faced with a life-threatening cardiac emergency.
